RAKETECH ANNOUNCES NEW BRAND AND INCREASES EMPHASIS ON RESPONSIBLE AFFILIATE MARKETING

Raketech, one of Europe’s leading iGaming affiliates, announced the launch of its new brand identity, logo and website to reflect the company as a responsible supplier of high-quality content that guides and inspires people to make informed decisions.

The new brand delivers a fresh look for a company that has quickly evolved from a tech start-up into a leading enterprise in its industry over the past six years.

The Raketech 2.0 brand launch comes at the perfect time in our company life cycle and will better align our brand to represent our mission and vision. Over the past year, we have grown our workforce to over 100 employees, strengthened our business with acquisitions, entered into exciting new verticals and won industry awards along the way. Raketech’s new brand identity reflects where we are today and will continue to guide us into the future.” – said Michael Holmberg, Raketech CEO.

Jani Peteri, Raketech Creative Director, added, “The new brand offers a fresh visual identity and conveys our purpose of guiding our customers to the best online services available. Named the ‘Guider’, the logo incorporates the key elements that express everything Raketech stands for; combining a magnifying glass to represent our expertise in delivering relevant information and a target to symbolise how we analyse data to hit our goals.

The company has continually strengthened its workforce and management team to help drive the affiliate industry forward as it continues to grow. The company recently appointed Scott Collins, who previously worked as PR Manager at PokerStars, as Raketech’s ‘Corporate Responsibility Manager’. Collins will report directly to CEO Michael Holmberg.

We intend to lead by example as a responsible affiliate, protecting our customers, delivering traffic to partners and doing our best to safeguard the long-term sustainability of the industry,” said Holmberg. “We appointed Scott to lead our corporate reputation and responsibility function, and he will act as an ombudsman to make sure we are fully compliant and raise the bar as a responsible business”.

Collins first joined Raketech in February and has over eight years of iGaming industry experience, previously holding corporate communications and content marketing management positions both in-house and agency side.

Catena Media launches online sports betting affiliation in Vermont

 

Catena Media, one of North America’s largest sports betting affiliates, launches online sports betting affiliation in Vermont as the north-eastern state opens for licensed sports wagering.

Vermont’s Department of Liquor and Lottery selected three operators to go live on 11 January.

All Catena Media’s national brands are carrying strong Vermont content to coincide with the launch. Complementing this coverage is content published by the group’s media partners, which include NJ.com and TheSportingNews.com.

Vermont, a small state with an adult population of 0.5 million, is the last of the New England states to allow online sports betting and is the first new market to open in North America in 2024. The next slated state is North Carolina, which is expected to launch legal sports betting in the coming months.

Ryan Harper, Catena Media’s Vice President for North America, said: “Initial interest from both the industry and sports bettors in Vermont is strong. Vermonters have enjoyed online daily fantasy sports products and horse-race wagering so are no strangers to the online market.”

The organising team responsible for iGB Affiliate has announced One Hundred Shoreditch as its new HQ Hotel for February’s event (6-9 February, ExCeL London).

Located in a prominent position on fashionable Shoreditch High Street, One Hundred Shoreditch is an acclaimed independent 258 room hotel offering a choice of places to eat and drink including Seed Library, an attractive rooftop bar and terrace offering panoramic views of the London skyline, a coffee shop, and the Lobby Bar which hosts a curated programme of weekly DJs alongside £10 cocktails. The venue offers five meeting and event spaces including the floor-to-ceiling glass One Hundred Room.

Announcing the new HQ Hotel, iGB Affiliate’s Naomi Barton said: “We were looking for a hotel close to ExCeL and that would connect with the unique personality of the Affiliate community.

“I have to say that One Hundred Shoreditch could have been designed with affiliates in mind! It’s as sassy as hell with great facilities, a roof top bar with amazing views of East London and it’s situated in the social heart of the vibrant East End. The bedrooms and suites provide headspace and calm in contrast to the energy of the ultra-cool hotel bars.

“I am confident One Hundred Shoreditch will resonate with show attendees – it will allow guests to socialise, network and hang out together, continuing the unique iGB Affiliate experience.  We have secured 150 rooms which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so book now and don’t miss out on the chance to be with your peers and friends!”

She added: “The 2024 edition of iGB Affiliate will be the last held in London prior to our relocation to Barcelona the following year.
